Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. She is best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Also, Kellie is well-known for her role as the lead in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Born to a department store owner and a kindergarten teacher Martin started her career in acting at the young age of seven, when her aunt who served as an nanny to actor Michael Landon's kids, assisted her in landing an appearance in the 1982 series "Father Murphy.". After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin took her acting career more than just a hobby. She landed significant roles in television and on the big screen. Besides being an actress, Martin is an accomplished photographer and dancer. Her sister who passed away from Lupus at age 19, inspired her to become the Lupus national spokesperson.
